Self Employed Consultant Edit
Litex Motors/Great Walls Bulgaria

November 2010 – October 2011 (1 year) Bulgaria

Self Employed Automotive and Emissions Consultant.
I have been working with Litex Motors Corporation in Bulgaria as advisory consultant for EU emissions regulations, CO2 reduction and LPG retrofit on Great Wall Motors (China) vehicles to be assembled in Bulgaria.
Litex invested heavily to assemble the various models and I was responsible for planning and costing a multi million pounds CO¬2 reduction program over the next 5 years targeting the technologies and improvements necessary to meet these objectives.
This constitutes now the basis of their development program and investments to support a multi million pounds business and is vital to their success in selling in Europe.
For their LPG retrofit activities, I was also selecting the right technology (performance at best cost per unit which was a multi million pounds contract with the suppliers). The plan was to convert 40% of their vehicles assembled and sold in Europe which represent a huge market for the organisation. This contract was completed in October 2011.
